About the topic:
Trello is an online system, see: http://www.trello.com , which adopts the Kanban approach to project and task management. It has acquired a huge following, in the main due to its simplicity and joy of usage. It is good fun ! As a result it has in excess of 19 million users now. Its simplicity drives its flexibility and really it is only limited by ones imagination. In addition it can be integrated with many other apps via “Power-Ups” such as FogBugz for bug tracking, Slack for collaboration, GitHub for Git source control repository hosting etc. Even if there is no Power-Up there are Zaps from Zapier that’s enables further integration. Tello and Slack are paradigm shifters. Software startups have eagerly taken on Trello and Slack to enable their very quick times to market.
Trello has now been bought by Atlassian, the makers of JIRA, a heavy weight tool that supports the Agile software development process.
Come and hear about this fantastic tools and see how they can offer real opportunity to you. We are sure that many of you are current users of one or both of these tools. It would be most interesting to hear how you are using them.
We look forward to seeing you on February 6th at 7.30pm.
